Why We Travel

Have you ever dreamed of that weekend getaway to see a new city, but thought you couldn’t afford it? 

We’ve totally been there. 😉 

That’s why we created this blog—to show that even Nigerians on a budget can explore this beautiful country of ours!

We’re Amara and Emmanuel, just two young Nigerians with full-time jobs but itchy feet to see as much of the country as we can.

How We Met and Bonded Over Budget Travel Dreams

We first met back in 2022 when we did our NYSC program together in Bauchi State.

Together with our friends, we explored the nooks and crannies of Bauchi.

From Yankari to Gubi Dam and even went as far as Sumu Wildlife in Kafin Madaki.

We quickly bonded over our big dreams to travel despite our small budgets.
