Lekki has a wide range of tourist attractions, drawing people from other Nigerian states and abroad. So why will you deny yourself the luxury of visiting these nice places too?

We had a great time during our last visit to Lagos and didn’t have to break the bank to access these places. We took the time to attend the GT Fashion Weekend, then doubled back to the Lekki Conservation Centre.

We couldn’t cover the rest of the city, as our trip was only for three days.

Anyway, here are 17 fun places to visit in Lekki, as recommended by our friends in the area.

Nice Places in Lekki for Nature and Conservation

Imagine a large expanse of land where you find a variety of trees, animals, birds, fish, and flowers that you’ve never seen before. Here’s a list of serene places you should have on your bucket list to enjoy a fun-filled and warm moment.

Lekki Conservation Centre

The thought of experiencing the highest canopy walk in Africa really excited us. The Lekki Conservation Centre is renowned for its rich biodiversity and the remarkable canopy walkway, one of the longest in Africa. 

At first it was fun; at least we could still take pictures until we got to the point of no return. Guess who was scared the most here? Emma and so many other guys with us😂 

The canopy walkway, in particular, gives you this thrilling perspective of the forest from above. 

The gate fee is ₦2,000 to access the playground and ₦2,500 to experience the canopy walk and treehouse climb. They open at 9 a.m. and close at 4 p.m. daily. 

We’d really love for you to have this experience, too. The monkeys are so dramatic, and the tortoise has a very cranky way of welcoming visitors. You’d love to see it.

Lufasi Nature Park

This park is cherished for its lush greenery and diverse range of plant and animal life, drawing visitors to its walking trails, picnic areas, and the opportunity to observe wildlife in a natural setting.

They are open from Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sundays, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The gate fee is ₦1,000, and you have a new world to explore by yourself.

When you want to shop with luxury brands with competitive pricing, then these are the places to try out. These exceptional spots in Lekki will wow you with their quality materials and refreshing meals.

The Palms Shopping Mall is highly regarded for its exclusive shopping experience. It contains over 70 stores inside, including Shoprite, so you’re certainly meeting your needs there. They open at 9 a.m., and close at 8 p.m. from Monday to Sunday.

Aside from being a shopping center, it’s also a social and entertainment hub, featuring a range of dining options, from fast food to sit-down restaurants, and a cinema for movie lovers.

Domino’s Pizza 

With over 5 locations scattered around Lekki, you can opt to order online through their website for as low as ₦4,000. It is a favored spot for both locals and visitors, known for its quick service and consistent quality.

Dominos in Lekki opens at 9 am and closes at 10.30 pm. It’s best you go for a pizza treat when the traffic is less. This could be around 10.30 am in the morning or 8 pm in the evening.

The Lennox

Don’t miss the Lennox shopping experience on your Lekki tour because this place has a lot of shopping options for you. It features a variety of retail shops, an elegant food court and restaurant, a serene relaxation spot, and a lively nightlife entertainment area. 

This is a perfect spot for adults. You could literally spend an entire day here and not get bored. They open at 9 am and close by 10 pm.

The Place Restaurant and Bar

Here’s your next stop if you love the local Nigerian dishes. Their meals range from swallows and soups down to the village jollof rice with mouthwatering tastes. 

Coming to the Place Restaurant to eat is a great choice, as they’re known for their welcoming environment and affordable meals. You can equally order for their means online for as low as ₦1,000.

Marcopolo Chinese

Coming to Lekki without trying out the different Asian and Chinese cuisines here won’t give you a story to tell.

A nice view of the waterfront surrounds Marcopolo Chinese, which maintains this enchanting traditional setting.

If you’re the kind who loves to try out new things, then here’s the right fit for you, and who knows, it may turn into your favorite spot. You can get a plate of food for ₦4,000, which is open from 11 a.m. – 10.30 p.m. 

Roadster Burger n’ Grills

The good part is that you can equally catch an appealing and happy breakfast here at 10 am. Their dining experience is one of a kind, with their outdoor sit-out and rooftop area giving off good chills.

A day at the beach is like experiencing a new world. It creates this feeling of lightness and freedom, from the sun to the water to the food. You definitely need to try out these places in Lekki.

Atican Beach Resort

The Atican Beach Resort is known for its clean and serene environment, making it the best beach in Lagos. It’d only cost you ₦1,000 to enter on a weekday and ₦2,000 on a weekend, and you’d have a long-lasting fun experience. 

Here, you can bring your food and pay a corkage fee of ₦500 or even get it from the vendors there when you reach. They open at 9 am and close at 11.30 pm every day, and since their maintenance is good, it’s everyone’s favorite, they have a hotel where you can lodge if you plan on staying overnight at good rates, too.

La Champagne Tropicana Resort

Found in this part of Lekki, has a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural richness. 

It is set amidst a tropical landscape with a stunning beach and offers a variety of outdoor activities like fishing, canoeing, and hiking, attracting adventure enthusiasts like yourself. 

They open at 8 am and close at 6 pm with an entrance fee of ₦6,000 for adults. This fee allows you to engage in certain activities, like

Elegushi Beach

Known for its lively beach parties, concerts, and social gatherings, it’s a hotspot for those looking to experience Lagos’s dynamic social scene, especially adults. The majority love visiting Elegushi Beach on Sundays, but whenever you decide to stop by, the gate fee is ₦2,000.

You’ll need extra cash to rent chairs, tents, or speakers, which is between ₦1,000 and ₦5,000. Preferably, it’s better to visit the beach in the morning when it’s still serene and leave at noon. The good thing is that you can go there with your food and snacks.

Nike Art Gallery features a diverse collection of over 7,000 pieces of art and textiles representing Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage. Entry to the gallery is free. They are open from 10 am – 6 pm from Monday to Saturday but open by 1 pm on Sundays.

Fun Places in Lekki for Leisure and Entertainment

You’re never too old to try out some really nice games, especially when it’s an outdoor experience. Here is a list of places to play really nice games and connect with awesome personalities in Lekki.

Leisure Sports Paintball

This place is a hit among groups of friends and corporate teams for its thrilling paintball battles. You get to sign up for a game here on weekends with at least ₦10,000 from 12 pm – 6 pm.

If you’re a movie lover, then this is where you find the best, ranging from the latest blockbusters to local Nigerian films. The filmhouse gives you an experience by allowing you to rent a cube for just you and your company. 

Their tickets range from ₦5,000 and above. Online purchases of movie tickets are advised.

People love Rufus and Bee for its vibrant atmosphere, great food, and the fun of engaging in various games and activities.

There are over 20 game collections at Rufus and Bee. All you need to do is get a buzz card upon arrival at ₦3,000, stack it with chips enjoy unlimited games till your chips are exhausted, then recharge again.

They are open on Tuesdays to Sundays between12:00 – 22:30.

Undoubtedly, Lagos may be filled with so much stress, but Lekki provides the most enchanting places to visit and unwind. 

You don’t have to be in Lekki before you can access them. We can get you some really nice Airbnbs where you can spend your day off.

Visiting some of these places requires an ID, so generally, it’s advised to always go out with yours for security purposes. 

Getting to these fun places around Lekki does not require a very serious outfit. It’s best to move in an outfit that you’re very comfortable with but matches the location. Like shorts or bikinis for beach time.
